Russell Palmer

Russell (Rusty) joined Corporate Realty in 1982 and has been President of Corporate Realty since 1987. Prior to that, he directed the leasing, management, and property development departments of a local brokerage company. Rusty is a life member of the Million Dollar Club of the New Orleans Board of Realtors.

A native of Selma, Alabama, he received a B.A. degree from Tulane University where he served as Vice President of his graduating class and was named to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Texas with a concentration in finance.

Rusty has an extensive background in leasing, managing, developing, investing and financing a variety of real estate projects. His specialty is brokerage of large income properties, completing over $500 million in sales. He has leased and managed over 20 million square feet of buildings including some of the largest projects in the Sunbelt region. As President of Corporate Realty, Rusty is responsible for all financial and operating aspects of the company with approximately 75 employees and several million square feet of commercial space. Rusty has been a principal in the ownership of numerous ventures and product types including office, retail, residential, raw land and office parks.

Rusty has served on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Jewish Community Center and on the Board of Trustees of St. George's School. He has been a board member of a regional bank in Texas with assets exceeding $1.0 billion. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.
