Hayden W. Wren, III's real estate career spans twenty five (25) years commencing with Columbus Properties, a fully integrated real estate development company where he was Vice President of Budgeting and Planning and Director of Finance. While there, he represented the firm in the sale of the 212,000 square foot Lykes Center in New Orleans, Louisiana to the LTV Corporation and the 112,000 square foot 3501 North Causeway Building (formerly the Xerox Building) in Metairie, Louisiana to the British Airways Pension Fund.
Since 1981, he has been actively involved in virtually every facet of commercial and investment brokerage, from tenant representation to assemblages of land for downtown mixed-use development projects. In pursuing this end, Wren has become a specialist in the sale/acquisition of Central Business District development land, having participated in excess of $50,000,000 in sales in the New Orleans CBD alone. His brokerage activity includes investment property wherein recently he has participated in sales in excess of $500,000,000. This area of specialization includes Class "A" office buildings, hotels, mid-to-large size strip shopping centers and apartments.
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Wren received a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a five (5) time Poche Waguespack award winner, an annual award given for the largest dollar amount of commercial transactions generated in the Metro New Orleans Area. He is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and also is a licensed Certified Public Accountant having membership affiliations with the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
